You can check out the SW-40 transceiver here, and the dummy load here.

New radio page

August 19, 2011
My dad helped me build a crystal a radio back when I was 7-8. I was amazed that I could listen to the radio for "free". Sadly I didn't progress from there, only messing with FM bugs and similar things growing up.

I finally decided I wanted to get my amateur radio license mid 2011, and thought I'd better put a page on here to log my progress and various projects.

First project is a loaded dipole for the 40m/7MHz band, you can check it out here

Webcam adapter for telescope

August 19, 2011

Change gear cover knobs

July 31, 2011
Thought I'd better dust off my lathe and make something, and I'd be wanting to make some knobs for easier removal of the change gear cover.

You can check it out here

Rigol DS1052E 100MHz hack/upgrade

July 11, 2011
Pictures of my scope after the hack, and some links to the firmware files and instructions I used.

I had planned to the do the hack when I purchased the scope a few months ago, but mine had a patched firmware that was only fairly recently bypassed allowing the hack.

You can check it out here

ArduinoISP adapter

June 4, 2011
